Trainee/Student Travel Scholarships​

 

Trainee/student travel scholarships are open to tribal college, undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, graduate, postdoctoral fellows, and any other "trainee-status" individuals who are interested in participating in the Summit. Trainee/student travel scholarship awardees must also attend the pre-Summit Trainee Workshop which begins at 12 PM noon on Wednesday May 28th.

 

​Eligibility for a Trainee/Student Travel Scholarship:

• Current tribal college, undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, graduate, or postdoctoral student/fellow

• If you don't fall into the above categories, adequate documentation of "trainee-status" required

• Will attend the Pre-Summit Trainee Workshop (starts on Wednesday May 28, 2025 at 12 pm noon) and attend the entire Summit (Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 9am to Friday, May 30, 2025 at 4pm)​

• Complete the Request form below

Student Travel Scholarships will cover:

• Shared lodging for Wednesday (May 28th) and Thursday (May 29th) nights at the Drury Inn

• Meals during the Summit

• Parking

• Some travel costs may also be supported, depending on funding

Scholarship does NOT cover:

• Ground transportation within the city

• Funds for family and/or friends

• Meals while traveling to or from the Summit

• All other expenses not covered above

​​Applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Application Committee and

awardees will be notified by April 1, 2025.​​
