                                                  Abstract Submission

Researchers, research teams, community members, and Native scholars are invited to submit their latest research or projects for the Voices of the Diné Summit.

 

Topic Areas:

  • Education related to STEM and genetics/genomics

  • Research involving genetics/genomics technology

  • Research impacting Diné or Indigenous communities

  • Microbiome, cancer, complex disease research

  • Ethics, policy, and privacy

  • Technology and methods development

While we will prioritize trainee/student participation, submissions are open to everyone. Abstracts received before the abstract deadline will be considered for poster presentations and/or a limited number of oral presentations. If your abstract is accepted, it will be included in our online abstract site.

 

Selections for oral presentations will be assigned to one of 8 concurrent Platform Sessions to occur on the afternoon of Thursday, May 29th or morning of Friday, May 30th. Poster presentations will occur during a reception on the evening of Thursday, May 29th.


Abstracts will be accepted through Friday, April 4, 2025 by 5 PM.

On the form, you will be asked to provide your Abstract text in fewer than 1800 characters, including line breaks and spaces (approximately 250 words).

The Abstract Selection Committee will notify presenters by April 11, 2025.
